Scope

This part of GB/T 20674 specifies the terms and definitions, classification, main performance requirements, operating procedures, test methods, inspection rules, and technical documents of electrofusion connection control equipment used in polyethylene (PE) piping systems, that is, electrofusion welding machines and logos etc. This section applies to polyethylene (PE) piping system electrofusion welding machine for electrofusion connection. This section applies to electric fusion welding machines controlled by voltage or current, and electric fusion welding machines are suitable for pipe fittings heated by resistance wires.
