GB/T 8243.11-2007 Methods of test for full-flow lubricating oil filters for internal combustion engines.Part 11: Self-cleaning filters (English Version)
This part of GB/T 8243 specifies the test methods for evaluating the performance of self-cleaning oil filters for internal combustion engines. This section applies to continuous or intermittent self-cleaning filters. Filtered particles can be removed from the filter by periodically reversing the oil flow through the filter element. However, this also places mechanical stress on the filter medium. The tests specified in this part can be used to check the filtration performance of the filter element under simulated working conditions, and to determine the ability of the filter element not to be damaged when the oil pressure, oil temperature, flow direction change and the oil contains water. 'The equipment and procedures specified in this section are recommended for filters with a nominal flow rate of less than 1 600 L/min.
