GB/T 8243.5-2018 Methods of test for full-flow lubricating oil filters for internal combustion engines.Part 5: Test for cold start simulation and hydraulic pulse durability
This part of GB/T 8243 specifies the test method for determining the internal combustion engine full-flow oil filter's ability to resist internal pressure fluctuations such as those generated when the engine is cold started and to withstand periodic internal pressure changes during operation. This test method is applicable to spin-on filters with a maximum flow rate not exceeding 100 L/min and removable filters with disposable filter elements. This test method can also be applied to other filters deemed suitable by agreement between the filter manufacturer and the purchaser.
