Scope
This part of GB/T 8243 specifies the test methods for determining the static pressure resistance of full-flow oil filters for internal combustion engines under high and low temperature conditions, and determines the size of the static pressure burst resistance and determines the failure mode. This section applies to spin-on or other forms of oil filters made of temperature-sensitive composite materials. This section applies to new filters or filters after durability tests.
