Scope

This part of GB/T 1149 specifies the general characteristics of piston rings (the individual dimensional characteristics are specified in the corresponding national standards), codes, marks and signs. This standard applies to piston rings for reciprocating internal combustion engines and compressors with cylinder diameters less than or equal to 200mm.
