Scope

This part of GB/T 1149 specifies the basic dimensional characteristics of rectangular cast iron piston rings with piston ring types R, B, BA and M. This part is applicable to rectangular cast iron rings for reciprocating internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter not greater than 200mm. Rectangular cast iron rings for compressors working under similar conditions can also be used as a reference.
