Scope

This part of GB/T 1149 specifies the basic dimensional characteristics of oil rings with piston ring types S, G, D and DV. The ring height of the oil ring generally ranges from 2.5mm to 8mm, and is incremented at intervals of 0.5mm or 1.0mm. Table 7 specifies the dimensions of oil rings with a ring height of 4.75 mm (3/16") currently in use in Imperial. This part applies to oil rings for reciprocating internal combustion engines with cylinder diameters less than or equal to 200 mm.
