- This part of the national standard "Electrical Installations of Buildings" gives the inspection and test to check whether the electrical installations meet the relevant requirements of other parts of "Electrical Installations of Buildings", and gives the test standards and test descriptions. This section concerns new installations, and does not involve inspection and testing of existing installations. However, the inspections and tests described can be used for original installations, if appropriate.
