This part specifies the requirements for initial inspection and periodic inspection of electrical installations. Chapter 61 gives inspection and testing to check whether the electrical installation complies with the relevant requirements of other parts of GB 16895 as reasonably as possible, and the requirements for the report of the initial inspection results. After the installation of new installations or the expansion or reconstruction of existing installations, a preliminary inspection should be carried out. Chapter 62 provides periodic inspections of electrical installations to determine as far as possible whether the installations and all their ancillary equipment meet the conditions of use, and the requirements for the report of periodic inspection results.
