- Scope
- This standard stipulates the maximum residue limits of 2293 items of 322 kinds of pesticides such as 2,4-D in food. This standard applies to foods related to limited quantities. The description of food category/name (see Appendix A) is used to define the scope of application of maximum pesticide residue limits and is only applicable to this standard. If the maximum residue limit of a certain pesticide is applied to a certain food category, all foods under this food category are applicable, unless there are special regulations.
