This recommended practice is intended as a guide for the specification of electrohydraulic mechanical feedback servoactuators used for position control. The recommendations contained herein are confined to the input and output characteristics of electrohydraulic mechanical feedback servoactuators. The information presented should be useful for standardizing the terminology and for specification of physical and performance parameters. The recommendations do not restrict nor attempt to define the internal design characteristics of servoactuators. As such, the material is equally applicable to servoactuators having different internal functioning, different ratings, different physical size, etc. In certain instances, standards for actuator design are recommended to increase interchangeability as, for example, pigtail color-coding and actuator polarity. The specifications contained herein should be adequate to describe electrohydraulic mechanical feedback servoactuators used for position control systems. Certain dynamic compensation methods will be discussed.

This International Standard gives specifications for medium pressure, high temperature, flexible metal hose assemblies suitable for continuous operation in liquid and pneumatic systems from - 55 ℃ to + 400 ℃, with short duration excursions up to + 650 ℃. The hose assemblies covered by this International Standard are intended for use in aerospace applications for conveying air and other gases in pneumatic systems, bleed air systems, heating and ventilating systems and instrument air systems when used at pressures and temperatures within the limits laid down in Tables 2 and 3. This International Standard does not cover flow velocity in such assemblies exceeding 54 m/s; higher velocities require special vibration-dampening devices. Hose assemblies supplied to the specifications laid down in this International Standard may be of two types: — Type 1: Convoluted inner tube - welded, of moderate mass and moderate flexibility. — Type 2: Convoluted inner tube - seamless or butt-welded and redrawn, of low mass and high flexibility.

This test method describes a procedure for measuring the largest pore or hole in a filter or similar fluid-permeable porous structure. A standard referee test method for precise determination or resolution of disputes is specified. A simpler inspection test procedure for quality assurance go-no-go measurement is also given.
