GB/T 16656.203-1997 Industrial automation systems and integration--Product data representation and exchange--Part 203: Application protocol: Configuration controlled design (English Version)
This International Standard specifies the scope and information requirements for the integration of resources necessary for the exchange of information between 3D design application systems for the configuration control of mechanical parts and assemblies. Configuration in this context only includes processes and data that control 3D product design data. The concept of exchange used here is narrow in scope and includes only those exchanged data defined as three-dimensional products. Organizations exchanging data within the scope of this standard may have contractual relationships, the details of which are outside the scope of this standard. Note: The application of the activity model in Annex E provides a graphical representation of the processes and information flows that are the basis for defining the scope of this standard. The contents within the scope of this standard are as follows: products refer to mechanical parts and assemblies; product definition data and configuration control data inherent in the design phase of product development; changes of a design and data related to the documentation of the change process; five shapes of a part Representations include: topological wireframes and surfaces, topological wireframe geometry, topological manifold surfaces, facet boundary representations, and boundary representations; other representations of data used by different disciplines in the design phase of the product life cycle; government, Enterprises and companies have identifications of relevant materials formulated by designers for certain product designs, processes, and surface processing; identifications of government, enterprises, companies, or other standards whose functions are included in a certain product design; track any design issued by Required data; Data necessary to track approval of a design, a design situation, or a configuration situation situation for a product; Product supplier or design supplier, and qualification information for that supplier if an organization deems it necessary If a part is designed by contract, the contract on which it was designed and developed and its contract identification; Identification of the safety classification of a single part or component parts in an assembly; used in design analysis or testing, or derived therefrom data that provides a basis for considering design changes. The following are outside the scope of this standard: data used in, or derived from, design analysis or testing that does not provide a basis for considering design changes; data that lead to changes to a design during initial development before release; Product definition data and configuration control data that are inherent in stages of the development life cycle other than the design phase; business data for design project control; outside the design phase (e.g. manufacturing), data used by different disciplines Other form of representation; CSG (Constructive Solid Geometry) representation of objects; data inherent in the visual representation of product shape or configuration control data.
