This part of GB/T 16656 specifies the interpretation of integrated resources, and meets the requirements for the expression of geometric shapes through geometrically bounded surface models. The following are within the scope of this standard: 3D points; points defined in the parameter space of curves or surfaces; 3D curves; curves defined in the parameter space of surfaces; basic curves: circles, ellipses, parabolas and hyperbolas; Polylines composed of three points; curved surfaces; basic surfaces: plane, cylinder, cone, torus, and sphere; swept surfaces generated by rotation or linear stretching of curves; sculptural curves and surfaces; trimming of curves and surfaces ; Compounding of curves and surfaces; Copying of curves, surfaces and surface models; 3D offset of curves and surfaces. The following do not apply within the scope of this standard: unbounded geometries; self-intersecting geometries; geometries in two-dimensional Cartesian coordinate space; replication of points; topological entities.
