Scope

This part of GB/T 16656 specifies the scope and information requirements necessary for the use of numerical control machining and related manufacturing processes and information requirements, including the scope and information requirements defined by GB/T 19903 Computer Numerical Controller Data Model. This Part is applicable to: --manufactured mechanical parts; --manufacturing process description, including manufacturing process, steps in the process and relevant information defined in GB/T 19903; --current and future shapes of mechanical parts; -- Manufacturing features of parts;--manufacturing tolerances of parts;--tool requirements for machining processes;--tool paths for machining processes;--manufacturing mechanical products for machining processes defined by GB/T 19903 (ISO 14649);-- A professional view of manufactured products. This section does not apply to: --composite material parts; --description of manufacturing activities not related to the automatic execution of computer numerical controllers; --types of machine tools available in workshops; --types of tools available in machine tool magazines; --parts design features; -- manufacturing preparation activities; -- professional views of products other than manufacturing.
