- The specific requirements of this section apply to electrical installations in narrow conductive locations and to the requirements for supplying equipment in these locations. A narrow conductive place is a place mainly surrounded by metal or conductive objects. People in this kind of place are likely to contact the surrounding metal objects through their bodies, and the possibility of preventing such contact is tiny.
