This standard specifies the technical and dimensional requirements for lampholders and starter holders for tubular fluorescent lamps and the test methods for determining the safety and compatibility of lamps in lampholders and starters in starter holders. This standard applies to stand-alone lampholders and built-in lampholders for tubular fluorescent lamps equipped with lamp caps shown in Appendix A, as well as lampholders for which the effective value of the operating voltage does not exceed 1 000 V when operating in an AC circuit, in accordance with GB 20550 -2006 starter uses independent starter base and built-in starter base. This standard is also applicable to single-ended tubular fluorescent lamp holders in which the shell and base are integrated. This lamp holder is similar to Edison screw lamp holders (for example (G23 and G24 lamp holders). Inspection: 8.4; 8.5; 8.6; 9.3; 10.7; 11; 12.2; 12.5; 12.6; 12.7; 13; 15.3; This standard also applies to lampholders which are integral with luminaires or which are intended to be installed inside the appliance (requirements for lampholders only). All other requirements, such as protection against electric shock in the terminal area, shall comply with the standard for the relevant appliance Requirements, and shall first be installed in a suitable fixture, and shall be tested at the same time when inspected against the fixture's own standard. Lampholders intended for use by luminaire manufacturers shall not be put up for retail sale. As far as fair use of this standard is concerned, This standard also applies to lampholders and starter holders and light source connectors other than the above types. This standard uses the term "holder" to denote lampholders and starter holders.
