GB/T 5169.10-2006 Fire hazard testing for electric and electronic products Part 10: Glow/hot-wire based test methods Glow-wire apparatus and common test procedure (English Version)
This part of GB/T 5169 specifies the glow wire device and the general test method, which uses simulation technology to evaluate the fire hazard caused by thermal stress caused by heat sources such as glow elements or overload resistors in a short period of time. The tests described in this section apply to electrical equipment and its components and parts, as well as to solid electrical insulating materials or other solid combustible materials. It is one of the tasks of standardization technical committees to make use of these basic safety publications, where applicable, when preparing their own publications.
