Scope
This part of GB/T 10066 is applicable to electric heating devices consisting of industrial centered induction furnaces and centerless induction furnaces for melting, heat preservation and heating. The purpose of this standard is to standardize the test methods for determining the basic parameters and technical characteristics of electrothermal devices consisting of furnaces of the above types. Except for the safety test items given in a), b) and c) in 4.2.1 of this section, the rest of the test items are not mandatory and binding. In order to characterize and evaluate the performance of the furnace, the test items can be selected from the listed items according to the needs; additional test items can also be added, but it should be agreed between the manufacturer and the user of the furnace involved.
