Scope
This part of GB/T 10066 specifies the test procedures, test conditions and test methods for submerged arc furnaces based on the main parameters and main operating characteristics of submerged arc furnaces with a rated power level above 500 kVA. This section applies to single-electrode or multi-electrode submerged arc furnaces. Additional tests may be necessary to further determine the technical or economic evaluation of the submerged arc furnace. The test of some special equipment furnaces controlled by semiconductor frequency converters, such as controllable rectifiers or control AC converters, is specified in GB/T 3859.1.
