This part of GB/T 18978 gives the requirements and suggestions for designing and evaluating forms. Users can perform operations such as filling in, selecting inputs or modifying label fields in the "form" or dialog box presented by the system. The system creates or updates data associated with the form. The input to the form is primarily by typing (abbreviated or full name), or the user can select from a list of available options. This section applies to a variety of forms, regardless of their presentation modality (visual, spatial, phonetic). But most of the guidance in this section is based on patterns of visual and spatial relationships. This section specifies how to use non-text methods for form input (eg, list boxes), and also covers dialogs based on form technology. This section gives guidelines for selecting and designing form-related user interface elements. This section includes a list for entering form data, but the menu design similar to the list is not within the scope of this section, you can refer to ISO 9241-14. This section also does not apply to form-related hardware. The requirements and recommendations in this section apply throughout the development and procurement of forms. For example, as a guide for designers, as a basis for heuristic evaluation and as a guide for usability testing, etc.
