GB 3836.17-2007 Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmosphere Part 17: Construction and use of rooms or buildings protected by pressurization (English Version)
This standard specifies the method of filling a protective gas to make the pressure in a room or building containing electrical equipment that may become a source of ignition and where explosive gases or vapors may appear higher than the external atmospheric pressure to prevent such gases or Measures against the penetration of vapors into the interior of the room. This part specifies the structure, equipment and operating rules of rooms or buildings and their related parts, such as the inlet and outlet pipelines of protective gas, some auxiliary control devices required to generate and maintain overpressure, etc. This section also specifies the test methods used to prove that the facility complies with this section, and the signs set on the room or building. This section applies only to rooms or buildings in which flammable gases or vapours cannot be released (actually or possibly).
