Scope
This part of GB 3836 specifies the structure and test methods of oil-immersed electrical equipment, oil-immersed components of electrical equipment and oil-immersed Ex components for potentially explosive gas, vapor and mist environments. This part is a supplement to GB 3836.1 applicable to oil-immersed electrical equipment requirements. This part applies to electrical equipment and components of electrical equipment that cannot be ignited during normal operation. Except for those components that comply with GB 3836.4, electrical equipment must comply with the provisions of GB 3836.8. . Note: This section assumes that the electrical equipment is immersed in the protective liquid and fixed in its working position according to the requirements of the installation instructions.
