Scope

This standard specifies the mechanical performance marking system, indicators, test items, test methods and signs of non-ferrous metal fasteners. This standard is applicable to coarse-pitch threads made of copper and copper alloys or aluminum and aluminum alloys with a thread diameter of 1.6 to 39 mm. The thread dimensions and tolerances are in accordance with GB196 and GB197 for bolts, screws, studs and nuts. Firmware products. This standard does not apply to set screws and similar threaded fasteners for which no tensile strength or nut proof load is specified. This standard does not specify performance requirements for corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity.
