Scope: This part of GB/T 3098 specifies the mechanical and mechanical properties of set screws and similar threaded fasteners of specified hardness grades made of carbon steel or alloy steel and tested at an ambient temperature of 10 °C to 35 °C. physical properties. Fasteners (including set screws and similar threaded fasteners with specified hardness grades, the same below) shall be evaluated according to the requirements of this part within the ambient temperature range. Fasteners complying with the requirements of this standard are graded by a specified hardness class, applicable only to compressive stresses. Set screws and similar threaded fasteners to which this Part applies: -- made of carbon steel or alloy steel; -- ordinary threads in accordance with GB/T 192; Thread M8×1~M30X2; --Comply with the combination of diameter and pitch specified in GB/T 193 and GB/T 9144; --Conform to the thread tolerance specified in GB/T 197 and GB/T 9145. This standard does not specify the following performance requirements: -- tensile strength; -- shear strength; -- weldability; -- corrosion resistance; -- performance requirements for operating temperatures above + 150 °C or below -50 °C .
