Scope

1. This standard specifies the general requirements and inspection procedures for the structure, inspection and marking of electrical equipment for explosive gas atmospheres, Ex introduction devices, and Ex components. 2. This standard will be supplemented or modified by the following special standards for explosion-proof types. GB 3836.2-3836.9 "Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres" series of standards. GB 7975 "Mining Helmet Lamp" 3. The above standards and this standard are not applicable to medical electrical equipment, detonators, detonator testers and ignition circuit testers.
