This standard specifies the mechanical properties of bolts, screws and studs made of austenitic, martensitic and ferritic corrosion-resistant stainless steels when tested at an ambient temperature of 15 to 25 °C. Performance may vary at higher or lower temperatures. Bolts, screws and studs to which this standard applies: Nominal thread diameter d<=39mm; Ordinary thread in accordance with GB/T 192; Combination of diameter and pitch in accordance with GB/T 193; Basic dimensions in accordance with GB/T 196 ; Comply with the tolerance specified in GB/T 197; Any shape. This standard does not apply to fasteners that have special performance requirements, such as weldability. GB/T 3098.16-2000 This standard stipulates that set screws and similar products made of austenitic, martensitic and ferritic corrosion-resistant stainless steels, when tested at an ambient temperature of 15 to 25 Mechanical properties of fasteners under tensile stress. At higher or lower temperatures, their properties may be different. This standard applies to set screws and similar fasteners not under tension: Nominal thread diameter d = 1.6 to 24 mm; Ordinary thread in accordance with GB/T 192; Combination of diameter and pitch in accordance with GB/T 193; Basic dimensions in accordance with GB/T 196; Tolerances in accordance with GB/T 197; Any shape. This standard does not Applicable to fasteners with special performance requirements, such as weldability. This standard specifies the corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance in special environments. The purpose of this standard is to classify the performance of corrosion-resistant wood rust steel fasteners. Corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance and mechanical properties for use at high temperatures or below zero must be agreed between the user and the manufacturer for each special occasion.Appendix D (reminder appendix) gives information on the use of carbon content under high temperature conditions Determining intergranular corrosion tendency. All austenitic stainless steel fasteners are generally non-magnetic in the annealed condition; after cold working, some magnetism may be apparent, see Appendix E (reminder appendix)
