This standard specifies the mechanical and working properties of the effective moment steel hexagonal lock nuts (including hexagonal flange surfaces) when tested at an ambient temperature of 10°C to 35°C. Performance may vary at higher or lower temperatures. Effective torque type lock nuts applicable to this standard: ——Thread diameter up to 39mm; ——Common thread conforming to GB/T 192; ——Conforming to the combination of diameter and pitch specified in GB/T 193; ——Conforming to GB/T 6H thread tolerance specified in 197; ——there are specified mechanical performance requirements; ——dimensions comply with the provisions of the product standards that reference this standard; ——the working temperature range of all metal nuts is -50℃~+300℃; — —The operating temperature range of non-metallic insert nuts is -50℃~+120℃1). This standard does not apply to special performance requirements, that is, special materials or higher coating performances are required: - weldability; - corrosion resistance; - performance requirements beyond the temperature range specified above. As the number of repeated uses increases, the performance of effective torque decreases. Nut users should consider the relationship between initial use performance and repeated use performance degradation.
