Scope

This part of GB/T 14598 is based on IEC 61000-4-18, with reference to the applicable parts of this publication, and specifies the general requirements for 1MHz and 100kHz burst immunity tests, which are applicable to power system relays Measuring relays and protective devices for protection. Includes control, monitoring and process interface devices used with these devices. The purpose of the test is to verify whether the device under test can work normally when it is excited and disturbed by repeated damped oscillatory waves caused by the opening or closing of circuit breakers or isolating switches in high-voltage substations or power plants. The requirements of this section apply to new measuring relays and protective devices. All tests specified in this section are type tests only.
