Scope
This part of GB/T 5169 specifies the guidelines for the assessment of fire hazards of electrical and electronic products and the guidelines for the formulation of fire hazard test methods that are directly harmful to humans, animals and property. The products mentioned in this section refer to complete electrical and electronic equipment and its components (including components) and electrical and electronic insulating materials. This section outlines the hazard assessment procedure for identifying appropriate product fire test methods and operating guidelines.
