Scope

This chapter of GB/T 19212.1-2003 is replaced by the following content: This part specifies the safety requirements for various aspects of transformers (eg electrical, temperature and mechanical aspects). This part applies to the isolation transformers for the power supply of mandatory group II medical establishments, which are stationary, single-phase or multi-phase, and air-cooled (natural or forced cooling). It is permanently connected to the fixed wire of the IT power system. Its rated power supply voltage does not exceed AC 1000V, its rated frequency does not exceed 500Hz, and its rated output should not be less than 3kVA and should not exceed 10kVA. No-load output voltage and rated output voltage should not exceed single-phase or multiple (phase-to-phase voltage) AC 250V. Isolation transformers are suitable for occasions where double insulation or reinforced insulation is required between circuits according to installation regulations or equipment specifications. This section applies to dry-type transformers. Its windings can be hermetically sealed or unsealed. This standard applies to transformers containing electronic circuits. This standard does not apply to external circuits and components intended to be connected to transformer input terminals and output terminals or sockets.
