Scope

This part of GB/T 5169 specifies the molded stress release deformation test as a test method used by product committees. This standard applies to electrical equipment containing parts made of polymeric materials. This test is used to simulate various effects of products or parts due to simulated pressure release when the temperature is higher than the maximum normal operating temperature, and to observe the nature of various changes caused by it. It is one of the tasks of standardization technical committees to make use of these basic safety publications, where applicable, when preparing their own publications.
