The needle flame test specified in this part of GB/T 5169 is used to simulate the effect of small flames caused by fault conditions, and to evaluate the fire hazard by using simulation techniques. This section applies to electrical and electronic product equipment, equipment components and parts, and also applies to solid insulating materials or other combustible materials.
