Scope
This part of GB 14048 is applicable to transfer switching equipment (TSE) whose rated voltage does not exceed 1 000 V AC and 1 500 V DC. The TSE is used for conversion between two power sources and interrupts the power supply to the load during the conversion process. . This part includes: - Manually operated transfer switching equipment (MTSE); - Remotely operated transfer switching equipment (RTSE); - Automatic transfer switching equipment (ATSE). This section covers TSEs with and without enclosures. The control appliances (such as control switches, etc.) and protective appliances (such as circuit breakers, etc.) necessary for TSE should meet the requirements of relevant national standards. The purpose of this part is to specify: a) The characteristics of the following electrical appliances: 1) Special-purpose transfer switch appliances; 2) Derivative-type transfer switch appliances. b) Relevant conditions that electrical appliances must comply with: 1) The intended operation of electrical appliances; 2) Operation and performance under specified abnormal conditions (such as short circuit); 3) Dielectric properties. c) tests to demonstrate compliance with these conditions and the methods for carrying out these tests. d) The data that should be marked on the electrical appliance and the data that the manufacturer needs to provide.
