GB 14536.2-1996 Automatic electrical controls for household and similar use. Particular requirements for electrical controls for electrical household appliances (English Version)
This chapter in GB/T14536.1 is replaced by the following content: This standard applies to GB4706.1 "General Requirements for Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances" and its relevant automatic controllers for household appliances within the scope of Part 2 . If a special controller already has Part 2 of GB 4706.1, this Part 2 will supersede the requirements contained in this standard for that special controller. This standard applies to the inherent safety of electrical controls; to operating values, operating times and operating procedures related to the safety of equipment; to testing of electrical automatic controls in or in conjunction with household and similar equipment. Note: The term "equipment" used in this standard includes "apparatus and equipment". This standard applies to mechanically or electrically operated electric automatic controllers, which respond to or control various characteristics, such as temperature, pressure, time, humidity, light, various electrostatic effects, flow, liquid level, current, voltage or acceleration etc. This standard applies to the starting relay used to control the winding of the motor, which is a special electric automatic controller, which can be installed in the motor or separated from the motor. This standard applies to manual controls that are electrically or mechanically combined with automatic controls. Note: For the requirements for manual switches that do not constitute an integral part of the automatic controller, see GB15092.1-94 "Appliance Switches Part 1: General Requirements" idtIEC 1058-1-1990 (and IEC328 has been replaced by IEC1058). This standard applies to controllers whose rated voltage does not exceed 440V DC1], AC does not exceed 660V, and rated current does not exceed 63A. This standard does not consider the installation method of the controller in the equipment to affect the response value of the automatic action of the controller. If these response values are useful for protecting the user or the surrounding environment, the response values specified by the corresponding household appliance standards or determined by the manufacturer should be selected. This standard applies to controllers incorporating electronic components. This standard does not apply to controllers used in central heating, central air conditioning and similar purposes
