This chapter in GB 14536.1 is replaced by the following: Replaced: 1.1 This Part applies to electric automatic water flow and Airflow sensitive controller. The device uses electricity, gas, oil, solid fuels, solar thermal, etc., or a combination thereof. 1.1.1 This part applies to inherently safe operating values and operating procedures related to the protection of equipment, and to tests for electric automatic water and air flow sensitive controls used in, on or with household and similar equipment. This section also applies to controllers for electrical appliances within the scope of GB 4706. Electric automatic water and air flow sensitive controls for equipment not intended for general household use but which may still be used by the public, such as equipment intended for use by non-professionals in shops, light industries and farms, are also within the scope of this standard. This section also applies to a separate controller that is part of a control system, or a controller that is mechanically combined with a multi-function controller with a non-electrical output. This section does not apply to pressure sensitive controllers, the requirements for these controllers are included in GB 14536.7. This section does not apply to electric automatic water flow and air flow sensitive controllers specially intended for industrial use. 1.1.2 This standard applies to mechanically or electrically operated electric automatic controls that respond to or control the flow of air and water. 1.1.3 This part contains the electrical performance requirements for water flow and air flow sensitive controllers and the mechanical performance requirements that may affect electrical safety. 1.1.4 Usually these water flow and air flow sensitive controls are integral or incorporated in the equipment, or are intended to be integrated or incorporated into or on the equipment. When these controllers are installed independently or with a wired structure, the second part is not included in this part. 1.2 This part applies to controllers with a rated voltage not exceeding 660V and a rated current not exceeding 63A. 1.3 This section does not take into account the automatic action response value of the controller, if the response value depends on the installation method of the controller on the equipment. If the response value has a significant impact on the safety of the user or the surrounding environment, the response value specified in the corresponding household appliance standard or determined by the manufacturer is applicable. 1.4 This part also applies to controllers incorporating electronic devices, the requirements of which are contained in Annex H.
